Getting a new dog how do i introduce him to my now dog?

okay so i have a 6 year old german/collie.
and my be getting a 3 year old german/collie that i found on the internet.
how should i go about this.
i also have 2 kids,that r 7 and 4.
i really like this mix of dog.
but don't want to be rash about this.
it is a big deal the get a dog that is already grown.

Try meeting them in a neutral territory first. Like a park. That way one dog doesnt feel like its defending its home against the other.
You just have to let nature go it's way. Put your older dog on the leash and introduce the new dog, most likely they'll sniff each other then maybe the older dog might start a fight. Make sure the older dog doesn't hurt the new dog but enough that they establish that the older dog is the boss.
Let them be.
They will catch on.
Dont worry they will prob be friends in no time.
Well,first off,put them in the yard with a couple of toys.Then,if they begin to bond a little,take them on walks together.After some time passes they'll get used to living together.

Make sure when you introduce them the first time that they are BOTH on leashes. You have to constantly watch them at first until you can predict how they'll react to one another. This video on introducing a new dog to your current dog might help:
