The smaller the dog, the more health problems. Keep that in mind...
There is NO SUCH THING as a "Teacup"-that is a term used by backyard breeders nad puppymills to describe a dog they bred down from the standard with no regard to health or temperment!
And the only "Toy" breeds are Toy Poodles and Toy Fox Terriers.
Don't believe me?!? Read the AKC breed standards-NO WHERE under size will "teacups" be mentioned! A teacup is something you drink out of!

Better yet, go down to your local shelter and find a small dog, adult already. That way you know what you will end up with.

There are many small breeds listed here. Just know that an educated dog person KNOWS there are NO SUCH THING as a "teacup" of ANY breed!! If anyone offers you a teacup puppy, RUN! They are a backyard breeder with no knowledge of the dogs they are manufacturing, or they are a puppymill. Don't get fooled!

I like Silky Terrier's, they are between 8 to 12 pounds
