i have a solid black puppy and we got him from the newspaper. the mom was on site and i could tell right away that she was full bred pitbull they also had papers on her. they told us the dad was a pit also and was borrowed for the breeding and was in another state.now that he is about 4 months old we can tell he is not a full pit. but we can't tell if the dad was a lab or a great dane. don't have any pics but is there something i could look for about him that would give me a good idea?

Size will be a good indicator.
Labs are medium size as are Pits; Great Danes are huge.

id say pit + lab mixx. im sure hes adorablee. mine is. my dog i russian st. bernard lab mixx. hes HUGEE.
