Great Dane Weight?

my great dane weights 109 pounds is that overweight or underweight for this breed or is it something else(He is HUGE)
Answers:
As an adult its underweight but, you never mentioned the age
it depends on his age , but he is not overweight .
It sounds underweight to me, but it depends on how old he is and how tall he is. Can you actually see his ribs? How do his ribs feel when you run your hands down his sides?
He seems underweight to me...ask your vet whats best to give him to gain weight!
animals are like people, im 5 foot 2 inches and 35 years old according to the drs chart i should be between 115 and 120 pounds, im not i weigh 98 pounds. the average weight and height for a male great dane is 30 to 32 inches at the shoulder and 120 to 200 pounds. thats an average!! some dogs are just built smaller or larger than the breed standard. there is nothing wrong with your dogs weight. if you think he is to thin then you need to take him to the vet for a physical, maybe he has an internal parasite that is causing him to not gain weight but with a dog as large as the dane being a little on the lighter side is not a bad thing, it doesnt put as much weight/strain on the hips and joints. also at 2 yrs old he may not be fully grown yet.
