Emergency Help With Dog!!?

My dog of 2 years, Tessa, Rat terrier, female, just ate a freaking bottle cap!!! From a poland spring water bottle! PLEASE ANYTHING YOU KNOW (except vet cuz im broke ) !
Answers:
Well, of course you should take her to the vet.
Since that's not an option, bulk her up with as much pumpkin as she will eat. This is what a vet advised me when a dog ate a bone that I thought MIGHT be a chicken bone. This will cushion the sharp parts and help it go through the system.
And as Jennifer T said, pray!
the only thing to do is take your dog to the vets, whether you are broke or not, any sharp edges on it could tear up your dogs insides if left unattended, it not, it could cause a blockage inside which will give just as much problems and pain for the animal. you need to get her to the vets, this is why you are meant to insure your pets.
otherwise its just sit and wait and hope i guess, hope that it comes out, and hope that it doesnt cause any damage in teh process.
good luck
well you could wait until she poos it out. or get her to throw it up RIGHT NOW!
All you can do is pray if you're too broke to take her to a vet. Is the cap plastic or metal? Plastic *should* pass, but there are no gaurantees.
you will need to call the vet. borrow some money or you need to charge it on a card. or sometimes humane societies will offer free/discount services. you dog will get very sick and die because thats much too big for a rat terrier to pass naturally.
My dog ate a corn muffin wrapper, she was fine, she just pooped it out. As long as she isn't choking she should be fine. Just try to feed her something and make sure she poops it out that way you'll know the bottle cap will come out.
So just because you are broke you are willing to possibly sacrifice your dogs life? As a responsible pet owner you should know that emergency's happen. Please take her to the vet and have her looked at. Is it worth losing your dog by not doing so? Good luck.
Forget being broke and go to the vet. A small dog eating something that size could get in trouble in a hurry.
Apply for this credit card if need be:

Take her in for xrays. It will be safe to know if it is passing thru. I would give her a teaspoon of mineral oil and maybe it will pass. Mineral oil works as a lubercant that helps things pass thru the bowel system. Since she is small.it will be hard for her to pass it. If she starts to act sick and not eat.take her in immediatly. This surgery is very expenisve. I had a tennis ball removed from from my boxer and costed 2300 dollars and the vet that did the operation was very generous since Ive known him since a kid. Be aware of small things that terriers could swallow. Provide toys to keep her company.
Don't get her to vomit, it can do more damage, take her to the vet (ask mum or dad for some $$$)
You need to remember any animal costs money at the vet when one least expects it. You'd need an xray to check size and if it can be passed safely or if it would need surgery.
I might not hurt her and will just come out in her stool, but on the other hand her should definetly take it to the vet. You shouldnt have a dog if you cant provide for it.
well take it to the vet or somewere the y will examine it if its an emergency and just keep your dog till you pay them dont let your dog suffer on the account of yourself
