My neighbor has a Queensland Healer/Britney Spaniel.
She is 4 yrs. old, and has been fixed. She has a bump near her back right leg. Between her leg and her female organs.
About the size of a 1/2 a dollar. It doesn't seem to hurt or bother her if touched. Any ideas? She needs to take it to the vet. she knows that. But, she's is also trying to take care of her Mother who has cancer all through her body. I offered but, she said Sarah is doing ok. But, wanted to know if there's any Professsionals out there who might know about something like this. Thank you

please take her to the vet so it can be assessed and taken care of properly. good question
She needs to have a vet take a look at her, but there's not much you can do if your neighbor doesn't choose to take her now.
She'll have to take her to the vet. They'll probably remove it, biopsy it and see if it's cancerous or not. I did have a foster dog who had a growth on his butt that was harmless, just a big bump. So she might be okay, but you'll have to get it removed anyway.
Sounds like a fatty tumor. They are harmless but should be removed because they have the tendency to grow.
its like a tumer. she should have it removed because it could grow larger and eventually kill her.
Well the dog could have a tumor. A tumor is a bump that causes dog's to have cancer. So yeah, take her to the vet.
It could be just a pressure spot coming from the way she sits. My dog has lumps on each side of his hind quarters and when I asked my vet about it this is what she told me. If you are unsure, take her to the vet to find out for sure.
Best option is to take her to the vet and get her looked at then progress from there
I had a dog that had one on his ribs but could not do anything about it as he had a weak heart,
RIP rex
Most likely its just a "fatty lump" I would take her to the vet just to be 100% sure though.
I love you kim if that's your name!
i am no vet but it could be the sign of a condition of cancer but i am not sure.
