Female dog doesn't like walks?

my female puppy doesn't like walks or going to the bathroom on walks. She pees once in the yard every 3 hours (she's 3.5 months). She's part beagle though so I don't understand why she doesn't like walks. My male poodle/schouzer loved them. Is this a female thing? when school starts in september I can't take her out as often how do i teach her to go to the bathroom more than once outside so she doesn't have to go so often? i'm just frustrated. i love her but i wanted a dog who would enjoy walks.
Answers:
Some puppies don't like walks, because they are too young, it might be the case of your dog. As other people mentioned, check out her paws, legs to see if she has an issue there.
Otherwise, wait and see, maybe when she gets older and more confident, she will enjoy walks like dogs do. Don't worry too much, she is young.
ONe of my dogs did not like walks when I first adopted her, and my other dog helped to build her confidence. She loves them now!
As for not going to the bathroom on walks, it's quite common, it took 6 months for my other dog to pee on walks (female) and it took her 2 years before she could poop in the park... she was shy and would only do that on our backyard.
It's nice you ask about your dog. But if she does not have any issues with her paws or legs, just wait and see. She is a puppy.
check out the paws to make sure there is no problems that might interfere with her walking are her nails clipped? dose she have a hip problem? Sometimes the nail grow inwards and that can be very painful.
That's not normal. Dogs usually love walks because it gives them the opportunity to smell things, for starters.
It could be that she has an internal or structural problem that makes it uncomfortable for her to walk. It could be that you like to get to the business of walking some miles and she wants to stop at everything and investigate. Have her checked out by a trainer and/or a vet.
She may also have a fear of other dogs or environments and feels safer at home (again, not normal). How does she do at car trips?
ur dog is not sick or anything its just that some dogs dont like walks and u cant force her to like them or go on them either u might have to lock her in a room when u go to school but dont put her outside because she is too young and small to be alone by herself that long
She might not like walks as much because she's still young. When she is about 6 months, then she will be used to the area and surroundings. She's not used to it yet.
I know why she goes to the bathroom so much because my boxer dog does this a lot too. Your puppy is marking her territory to make sure to other dogs that she lives there. That's all I can help you out with because i'm not exactly sure of the other things that you listed.
