I have been looking for some purebred english bulldog puppies in Ontario Canada and am having some trouble finding good breeders. any info on any? and the cost if i am not showing or do not plan on breeding?

puppyfind.com! Once you type in the breed you can view all puppies and the click on the location link on the upper right corner. Be careful, bulldogs are expensive ($1000-2500)

I have a friend that has an English bulldog. She was $1500. When the friend told me how much she going to pay for the dog I kind of freaked. She then told about how much trouble it is to breed English bulldogs. Most of the time the mother won't have but 3 or 4 puppies. They have to be closely watched by a vet. Most of the time they have to have c-sections. So it is very expensive to even have a litter of puppies. Oh and not to mention, most of the time they have to do artificial insemination because they don't do that great breeding. So no matter what your intentions are with your pup, I'm afraid it is going to be a very expensive venture for you. But, I have to say, her dog is great. She is playful and loving, and kind of lazy. She was worth it after all.

well look in your new pappers and penny saver. look on the web for good breeders. i got mine for 2,300 they are the best dogs, some times if you wont show or breed they wont give you the pappers of the dog .and they will sell them for 1,800 but some times even if you wont breed or show they will still make you pay full price. there are also a lot of cute bulldogs at http://www.petfinder.com they need homes. hust take a look there. sorry i dont really now were any are in canada but im sure there are. i live in california and i had to get my bully shiped. people say that is not good for them but trust me they are fine. they make them doze off so they are not scared. and my bulldog is the best. keep looking for that special bulldog. you will find it. good luck hope you find it.
