Yes, they do. My dog yips and moves his legs too, and he's fast asleep. I imagine he's dreaming that he's chasing our cat.

I have read In a book that dogs do Dream some even sleep with their eyes open. I heard they Dream about thier owners or that they are chasing something. Like a rabbit or cat.
Yes, they sure do! My dog yips and yaps and makes cute little noses in his sleep when he's dreaming. Sometimes it looks as if he is running or playing with one of his toys in his sleep. It's really cute to watch!
